    We are looking for a Customer Services Representative apprentice to join our small and dynamic team. The successful candidate will learn how we manage our client’s requirements and deals with various suppliers whilst becoming familiar with our business.  They will be expected to help manage incoming calls, work with the sales team and other members of the customer services team in fulfilling various types of work we manage on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

  • Information Technology Apprenticeships (Technical)

    Details:

    As a level 3 apprentice, you be required to assist in the following areas:

    Manage requests for technical equipment and resources to support learning, developing a systematic safe approach to using equipment to support key stages of the Curriculum
    To ensure that the network and computer systems are regularly tested to run efficiently and backed up
    Maintain equipment, including computer hardware installations, maintenance of peripherals, scanners, printers, IT furniture, undertake repairs and modifications, commissioning other companies to undertake such as required
    To ensure that the system is kept up-to-date regularly with antiviral and security software and other system updates and packages required
    To ensure that the system also has up-to-date E-Safety security monitoring software to ensure compliance with the Trust’s E-Safety policy
    Routinely check the E-Safety system logs, to ensure protection of child and adult safety interests.
    Document Management – including maintenance of up-to-date documentation, equipment instructions, audits and guides
    To keep an inventory of hardware, software and other computer supplies
    Compile orders for equipment and liaise and negotiate with suppliers and the Trust IT Support team on sourcing, costing, and maintaining school curriculum technical supplies
    To support development of new technology in schools across the trust, in-line with the Director’s development plans
    To identify the cause of faults and undertake basic repairs
    To ensure there is adequate data security, including regular password updates
    Ensure access rights to parts of the network are managed, including pupil and staff databases
    Ensure that ergonomic and VDU workstation assessments have been conducted, recording information
    Respond to actual or potential hazardous situations to prevent harm to pupils, staff or others
    Ensure adequate risk assessments are carried out for computer network activities and lessons requiring the use of technical equipment
    Conduct safety checks on equipment and services
    Ensure that appropriate signage and notices are maintained in the designated practical working area
    Secure network areas and equipment when not in use
    Demonstrate the correct and safe use of equipment to pupils and teachers
    Provide technical advice and assistance to teaching staff and pupils
    To support the delivery of training sessions for other staff on databases, spreadsheets, graphics, and other hardware / software issues
    Maintain the data import and export processes of department specific, third-party software which is dependent on the school’s MIS
    Be involved in extracurricular activities, (e.g. IT clubs, open evenings, presentation evenings)
    Monitor any problems and difficulties, reporting these to staff in accordance to occurrence within the trust
    Report pupil and trust issues in line with the Trust’s policies for health and safety, child protection and behaviour management
    Attend staff and group meetings and training sessions as required
    Annual performance management review

    These duties will be varied at the discretion of the Head teacher, to meet the changing needs of the school.
